The Macau Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (MOCERT) jointly hosted with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (Macao Chapter) and Macau New Technologies Incubator Centre (MANETIC), and co-organized with Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) a string of seminars on “Fraud Detection and Cybercrime Countermeasures” and a clean PC workshop to highlight the risks, and counter measures that internet users need to deal when using internet connected computers. This activity was held on the 20th July 2011, at Macau New Technologies Incubation Centre (MANETIC).

Four contemporary and very different aspects were discussed about techniques and warning signs that can be identified by the general public of an attempt at fraud and cybercrime. The Clean PC Day was not only seminars but also consisted of a clean PC workshop on approach on how to clean a PC from a virus infection.
